The Westport Wine and Food Club was
established 25 years ago, meeting four to five times
each year for wine and food appreciation.
Where and when possible the club has
"home hosting" where members come together with dishes
assigned by the committee.
The per head charge is around $40 which
includes drinks.
Ethnic
dining is encouraged.
Occasionally the club might book a local
restaurant, or employ professional chefs to cook at a
private venue.
Wine tasting, when it can be arranged
with a vineyard, is normally carried out at a host
restaurant. |
